you want to enter a team by May 20.
There will be various food stands and wagons on the Recreation Ground throughout the day for your
refreshments. Nearer the date we will be publishing a programme so everyone will know what is

run-up to this there will be some suitable music and singing including the national anthem. There
will also be some readings reflecting on the previous 70 years.
On Saturday 4 June we will be joining the Concert at Buckingham Palace because we will be
televising the BBC presentation of the concert on a giant TV screen on the Recreation Ground from
6pm. There will be food stalls and a bar and additional live entertainment so it will be a fun evening!
But before all this happens there is going to be a Beacon Trail. This will involve a walk around the
town spotting the posters in seven different locations. You will use your smart phone to scan the QR
Code and you will get more information and a special friendly new character to tell you all about it.
It starts at the beginning of May. Fun for all ages!
